Does anyone know anywhere dog friendly to visit in Norfolk? We have been there on holiday a few times, but only once with Spice. We have booked to go again for a week from this Saturday and would love to hear of places we could visit with her!
The beach where we stay is really dog friendly with sand dunes and long stretches of coastline, but we would also love to visit some parks or country houses/gardens.
Here's hoping :D

Hi,
I'm moving to Norfolk due to my OH getting a place at Norwich Art School.
I put up a similar question recently, re dog friendly places to live.
Not sure if it was on Foo or Idle Chat, if the latter it will have gone by now... Sandringham Estate is in Norfolk, also there is an area called Bacton woods which is meant to be good for dog walkers and is well used by them.
Thetford Forest is not too far away.
hth a bit

hi i too posted a "dog friendly?????" enquiry but mine was for scotland, if you do a search on my name or dog friendly????? it should bring it up. i had a cpl of replies with links to websites which might be of use to you, although in my case there wasnt much on them for scotland, but you might be more lucky than me with them
good luck :-)

Thanks for the replies I have since found a few places to visit which allow dogs! Shire Horses and the following (sorry haven't mastered links) looks very good :)

Brancaster beach is a lovely place for dogs in Norfolk, it is between Hunstanton and Wells, there is a forest walk at Wells although the dogs are not allowed on the beach there, there is also Thetford forest, and the woods at Sandringham that are open to the public with different walk signposted by the different colours as to length
