hi,how big do chihuahuas grow,i understand there is no such things as tea cups and would like an average size chihuahua but how many pounds is this and how many pounds would a large chihuahua weigh?do smooth coats weighg lessthan long coat?
what comparision is this to the size of the puppy.

breed standard is 6 lbs or under but chi's range I have heard of 12lb chi's, I have a tiny boy who's 15 weeks and 1 1/2 lbs will probably grow to around 3 I think

chihuahuas can grow between 13cm and 23cm
and weigh 2-4lb

Actually, the standard allows up to 6lb.

I have chihuahuas, one at 7 1/2lb,and two teenies at 3 1/2lb each all fully grown at 7yrs, 5yrs and 4yrs and all  beautiful girls.
