In my house, that's normal behaviour LOL :)  My pup always does it - it's a pain, but bearable considering what he COULD be getting up to :) :D

Both of my dogs still do it. And Gemma is now 8!!!!!!!
Beano did worse the other day.
Ate a £5 note!!!!! BUT there is onlt one small part of it missing so hopeing the bank will change it LOL
Dogs must have a genetic fascination with them!!!!!

Hi tazzi
My dog gets the toilet roll all over the landing, if some has forgotten to shut the toilet door lol, then she comes to find me to show me she has some stuck in her mouth lol.
When the my sons grew up i put all my nice things back out on display, then along comes blossom the dog and they all had to go back away again lol.
LOL at beano anna, bank should laugh at that one!!

My dogs relish the times that my daughter forgets to close her bedroom door as they are straight in their, tip over her bin usually full of tissues and proceed to tear them up into millions of tiny pieces :o

You would think she would empty the darn bin,but NO she picks all the bits up and places them back in the near overflowing bin, ready for the next time she leaves her door open!

Kids,gotta love em'

Yup both my dog and my puppy find the attraction of snotty, manky, grimy old tissues just irresistable.  And my puppy is currently also enjoying trying to pick up his freshly soiled newspaper and prance around the room with it... :0

A lot of dogs do do this with no reason other than they enjoy it.  Sometimes though it is a sign that they are lacking in fibre in their diet and eating anything that is wood pulp/cotton based seems to give them what they are missing.

My dog loves shredding tissues.  I always take them off him for fear of him eating it.  Would it do him lots of damage if he did?

No it is merely cellulose, you find it in quite a lot of dog foods........
