thank you tigerlilly and brainless for responding to my request about having our cockerspaniel spayed.  Have found earlier discussions regarding this on site as suggested by tigerlily and have come to the conclusion brainless that it would be better to wait until she has had her 1st season. (your description of it relating to having the operation done on a 10yr old girl put it into perspective).

Think this sight has some very usefull information - am tempted to join but being a newcomer in computers etc.  not sure if I would use it often enough.
