Your female is too old for a first litter. I assume it's a first litter as you have not had a successful mating in seven seasons. Please forget all about breeding these two and keep them apart for the bitches health sake.

I agree with Dawn, your bitch is too old and there are too many GSD's being bred as it is, without ill planned litters adding to the list!

Why do you want to breed them anyway? Have they had health screening?, is your dog the best suiter to your bitch, do they compliment each other? These are but a few of the questions you need to ask yourself before embarking on becoming a breeder!

I would think again if I were you and be thankful that you have not been successful during the last several attempts.

Guest you have got negative responses to your enquiry as it does not sound as if you have the knowledge or expereince for the responsibilities which should last the lifetime of any pups produced.

Teh posters may be jumping to conclusions, but you don't make any mention of the pairs Hip Scores, that the dog has been tested for Haemophilia, and how it turns out that you have the good fortune to own the most compatiblem mate for yur bitch???

It is rarely a god idea to try to mate two maindens especially if you are not an expereienced breeder or stud dog owner.

Your bitch is now too old for a first litter, so I suggest you get into workign or showing your dogs, and look around for a reoutable breeder who will sell you a promising bitch pup, and after you have shown and worked her successfully and learnt more about the art of doing it properly. :D
