im a bit confused about seasons. Do you count from when pups are born, 6 months after that the bitch will be in season next, or 6 months from when she was in season last before she conceived??

Bitches normally come into season 6 months from last season. My bitches normally come into season when their pups are around 3 months old

Keatah usually goes about 10 months between seasons. I was very surprised how soon after having her pups she came into season maybe her quickest yet.

You count season to seson, and often the gap will be longer because of having the litter, but some bitches come in on time as if no litter were born.  My own bitches tend to be 3 to 5 weeks later than if they had not had pups.
