Does anyone have any experience of pet sitting, I dont want anyone to sit with my cats (I know this is a dog forum) just to come in and feed them.
Does anyone know how much they charge.

If you go onto the internet and type in petsitters, there are quite a few.  I use one in Orpington, Kent she is registered with a company called NARP, National Association of Registered Petsitters.  I have always been happy with her.

We have a pet sitter who comes in every day to spend an hour with the dogs if we are at work.

She spends her time playing with the dogs, cuddling them or if we have taken some and only left a couple she walks them.  She charges £6 per day, though double on bank holidays, Easter, Christmas etc.

Price will depend on the area.  Our dog sitter is registered and has police clearance, she also insists on coming to your home and meeting you and the dogs first.

I know ours also feeds/waters cats, rabbits birds etc whilst their owners are on holiday -visiting twice a day as necessary.  Small caged animals she has at home for people.

What area are you in?
