Hi all...
i have just spent the last cpl of hours searching the net for dog friendly pubs, found loads in england but seriously struggling with scotland (where i live) are they not dog lovers up here or do they just not advertise it lol..

if any of you out there know of any dog and kid, (as we have 2 of those aswell... beer gardens would be fine :-) ) friendly pubs in the north east of scotland moray/grampian area... pls pls let me know , im getting square eyes from searching.lol
i cant believe that i cant find any, especially as this malt whisky country, walking (speyside way) hiking (mountains) etc.... surely there must be some places somewhere where we can all take a nice relaxing rest together.... :-)

Try DogFriendlyAwards/search , put in type of place, pub,hotel,b&B etc then pick area.

I'm in Scotland too and have had the same problem looking online for dog friendly pubs.  We've found the best thing is just to ask at likely pubs :D

i will try lesley's suggestion and just ask when we come across pubs, and then if i get a yes!! i shall visit those websites and post the names of the pubs and location...

if we could encourage more people to do the same, then perhaps these dog friendly sites would actually have more information on them .... would certainly help people who are visiting the areas we live in :-)
