Another little problem I need help with.  I know a few cd'ers use ACDsee for their photography. I use ACDsee7 and I have tried e-mailing some photos, but they are not retrievable at the other end.  So I tried e-mailing between my personal e-mails to try and find the problem.  It seems that the only way the recipient can open the attached files is if they also have ACDsee7.  How on earth do you get round this?  I have tried a couple of different ways by transferring from jpg files to publisher, but the process took me nearly 1.5hours for 5 photos   It also took 44min xx secs to attatch the virus scan, so the whole process took nearly 2.5 hours and I still dont know if the photos are accessable at the other end.  Surely there must be a simpler way.  If anyone can help, I would be grateful.

I also need to take Baillie off my CD homepage to replace with Ellie, but it will not accept the files because ACDsee transfers as bmp instead of jpg.   So at the moment, photo of Baillie has Ellie's synopsis and name :( Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance
Kay

As long as you save your pics AS .jpgs then the person at the other end should be able to open them with any photo programme :) Make sure you SAVE the pics as jpgs rather than bmps ;)

I write an email, click on attach .....find the piccy and click it . Make sure that the pics are resized before you send them, sometimes I forget to resize them before sending them and my camera is set to take high resolution LARGE pics and they can take ages to send if you are not on BB :)

Or in my case...... A Canny Daeit See.  Translated into English...I Cant Do it See :D :D

Anyway, numskull here has managed away round it, not sorted, but will do for now. Just right click on bmp and send to mail recipient. Only problem, can only send one at a time, so person on the other end will keep getting individual emails, instead of one, with numerous attachments.

I will not be beaten lol :D
