Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / adolescence?

Do females go through adolescence to the same extent as males do? My male was a complete nightmare for 6 months once he got to that stage. Luckily it is all over now. But do females go through it to the same degree as males?
Thanks,
Moira

Also think males are worse, once the brains leave the head and move toward the tail it takes months if not years for sanity to return. Much the same as most species I quess. Jackie H

So sanity does eventually return then? I'll give it a bit longer then - lol. I was only thinking of something a friend said to me earlier today - A man is like lino - can be a devil to lay - but when you do it right you can walk all over it for 20 years. My conceen was what happens after 20 Years? So I'm torn - do they become sane or trouble - not sure which is the best/worst depending which way you look at it - lol:D

Pam, sanity returning, well a lot depends on the species, some, as we know never quite make it. Jackie H
