Hi

I am currently looking after my riends 6mth old lab puppy and wondered if anyone could help me wit a question.  Is it normall for a lab to lie streched right out with its back legs facing backwards.... similar to the way a shit tzu would lie.  This might be a silly question to ask but with not ever having a lab myself i was just curious :-)

Simple answer is yes, three of mine sleep like this.

I have got one who lays like this when I'm trying to train him!! Its quite normal and no harm will come of it.

Many different breeds do it - it's called spatchcocking and our old family Cogi used to do it :)

yup mine does it - she loves to stretch out like that flat on the ground with her back legs right out flat behind her.
