My dog has had an upset stomach for 2 days. Someone suggested to give her Ready Brek in warm water as it would bind her up. Anyone heard of this before? Annie.

It's probably best to fast your dog for 24 hours, then introduce small quantities of boiled rice and chicken or fish. Ready Brek has lots of sugar, and sugar has a laxative effect ...

Mashed potato does the trick quite nicely too.  No milk and butter of course!

Ready Brek is designed for humans, milk will exacerbate the squits.

I suggest fasting and then live yoghurt (the lactose and casein in yoghurt is predigested) to repopulate the gut with friendly bacteria the squits have removed.

I use weetabix when it rarely happens and have done for over 21 years.
