hi all well my girl is 55 day gone today and well she has been not to keen to eat and drinking quite a bit she will eat but some times she might be sick is this ok or am i just worrying a bit to mutch now .cheers dave!     ps this is her first litter

i would'nt worry dave everything seems normal,they normally go off food etc....in the last week of gestation,she will most probably be feeling very uncomfortable at the moment and quite tired ,she will need all the rest she can at the moment before the big event

Also if the weather is like it is here in Manchester at the moment it could be that she's that much warmer in the heat and with being pregnant.  Hope all goes well.

In the last week or so, I feed my girls on Naturediet only, and they love it.  They are so picky otherwise.  This way they at least eat right to the end. 

Also, I always give them a bath in baby shampoo about 3 days before their due date, so I know they are nice and clean when the pups come.  Last time my girl ran to the end of the garden and dug under a shed on the morning they were due (very muddy from head to toe) and I had to shampoo her quickly before she came back into the sitting room.  She had the pups later that day!!
