what shows are everyone doing this weekend ?

I have WELKS on Saturday, Witney and district in Didcot on Sunday and I think its the southern agricultural society show in Ardingly on Monday - busy weekend for me and my boys :)

I'm not showing at WELKS as the judge doesn't suit me. I'm working on Sunday and then I have Border Counties Gundog on Monday. I was meant to be taking both my girls but the youngster has come into season eventually :D So it'll be me and Keevy (who isn't keen on showing) on Monday. I'll take her for the day out as she enjoys the atmosphere. You never know she might just go and show her socks off :D We can but try lol!!!! The entries aren't too good either I hear so we might just stand a chance ;)

I'll be the Big brunette, with a slight purple tinge in her hair at the Irish ring. It would be lovely to meet up and say Hi to a fellow champdogger!!! How many have you got entered Kay? I did have two entered but the youngest came into season last week so I'l have my oldest girl who really doesn't like showing that much with me for the day out lol! If you give me some indication of what you look like I'll say hi and hope it's you :D

Hi Alli, I would say slightly grey hair, but daughter kindly 'bottled' me, so am mousy brown again lol. I will be there with Tia and Summer, both Black labs. Black Jeans, White shirt and black sueade waistcoat, er thats me not the dogs :D Will look out for you if you dont get to me 1st. :) Sorry Im 5'2 so not the tallest in the ring :D

Yep, ive entered SKC.  Looks like me and my OH are definitely over so a couple of my mates are coming with me and we are going to have a girly weekend in Edinburgh - looking forward to all those men with that beautiful accent ;)

I live in Birmingham and never attended ANY shows.  Can you let me know where and when and cost to attend not to show. Thanks.

Best thing to do is to go to a few companion shows first. They are just a bit of fun and usually only cost £1 per class. Not always easy to find them though. Use local papers, or google searches. Once you've been to one, there'll be schedules for others at the show.

Doesn't normally cost anything to go and watch although sometimes you do have to pay entry if the show is at a village fair.

Oooh I'm at the Witney & District on Sunday and it's in Blewbury not Didcot ;)
At the riding school there.
Hoping that the fields will be dry enough for parking this year as last year it rained and
we had a mud bath for the car park and were showing indoors in the riding school.

I'll be showing my Boxers and playing gofer for my friend who's dashing one ring from another
as she's showing a Whippet and a Border Collie :)

Oh, is there much between Blewbury and Didcot ?  Ive just finished work now and ive printed myself directions to didcot, I dont have a printer at home (well I do but it isnt working :( )

Don't panic, it's dead easy to find!
When you come off from A34 (I am presuming this is the way you are going?)
I think the junction is called the Milton Interchange? you don't want to head for Didcot.
You want to instead head for Harwell/Steventon/Wantage (A417/A329)
Which if you are heading up from Hampshire will be the first exit off the roundabout.
Then stick to the left lane as you will get to some traffic lights. Go straight through these
and follow road until you come to a roundabout.
There is a garage/spa shop to the left just before the roundabout, you want to turn left
at the round about. This should be signposted for Harwell/Reading etc.
Then basically you want to keep on this road until you come into the village of Blewbury.
As you go on this road further you will go past a pub on your left (can't remember it's name)
through houses either side of road and be approaching a garage on your left immediately after the garage there is a left hand turn
You need to take this left hand turn! (go too far and you are out of the village of Blewbury :D )
Follow the road and the riding centre is up on the left.
Don't leave it too late to get to though as parking can be a right pig...depending on where the rings will be
