Travel lodge and travel inns do. How close do you want to be? I will try and have a look..
Pam
Hi Pam,
Thanks for that, any reasonable distance from the show is fine.
I did ring one of the travel inns in edinburgh earlier today and they said they do not accept dogs at all??

Forgot to ask what breed you had ( IE SIZE) and how many dogs will be in the room as some are more fussy than others.. Oh and what day :-))))
Pam
I am only 30 mins from the showground and I know there are 2 new travel lodges around me..
hi,
we need a room for the fri night and get ready for it we have two Bullmastiffs, not the most desirable I know but would be crated.
Thanks again

Did you get it at the discounted rate??
we have been lucky and not paid for the dogs yet, in fact if you saw us distracting the nightsman you would wet yourself.
yes we did, will have to get my husband to flash or something mind you it might take more than that to get two great bullies and a crate past them!!!!

I am probably a bit bias as I am only 25 mins from the showground but I really like SKC..
My puppy dog is only out of puppy by a couple of days so I think the junior class will be too mature for him but we will see.. Good luck

Anyone coming from a northerly direction, remember the Forth Road Bridge has roadworks on it from now until almost end of June. I will go via Stirling.
Not again :( It seems like we spent most of last year going the 'long way round' only to find it was actually quicker ;)

Hey and remember the bridge is a £1 from Sunday LOL
I am OK if I get over early.. :-)) I love the few shows we have there Christine as it is so close I am generally hours and hours away, it is the only one I don't have to hotel it

Pam,
Are you going up to the Redcastle open day on Saturday?

Whilst on the subject, is the show ground anywhere near Edinburgh ? I have entered this show but seeing as I have now split with my OH I am now bringing a couple of friends so we want to stay in Edinburgh (ooh the scottish accents of all those hunky men - we hope ;) ) Does anyone know of anywhere that will take 3 single girls and a couple of adolecsent Irish Setters

(the boys are well behaved, its we girls that are the concern ;)

LOLOLOLOL It is at Ingliston(sp) It's at the Airport
Can't help with the accommodation but I think there is a travel lodge not a million miles away

There are a few travel lodges around and in Edinburgh, it is also full to the brim of hotels and B&B's
Tourist board is good for them

Edinburgh City centre is only 10-15 mins from the showground though.
