Hi everyone,
My pup was house trained (or so I thought!!!) until today.
I went for a very long walk with her, and she went for a wee etc. She has never done a poo on a walk before, she will come back and do it in the garden. So I don't know how to get round that one? Anyway I will opening the curtains in my bedroom, and my pup was on my bed doing a poo! She has done a wee on there before, she is brilliant around the house, just a few times she has done it all on my bed!
Is there any reason why my bed? And is there anyway of stopping her doing it?
Thanks everyone.
She is pooing where she feels safest. How old is she? I'm having a problem with one of my bitches weeing on my bed just now and I have found the only way to stop it is to keep them out of the bedroom

As for pooing when out of the garden it will come with time. When she first does it praise her loads - yes I know it sound silly, and you feel very daft when other people look at you, but how else is she to know she's doing it right? ;)

How old is this pup? As they mature, their needs change, and sometimes they like to try and make their mark in this way. For some dogs it's also a sign of stress and can be a reaction to stress in the household - arguments, planning a big holiday, moving house or a wedding for example.......
