Anyway,

My male has been gripping my bitch with his paws in the position where his paws would be if he were to mount her (he's not mounting her) on the left side and also the, sort of shoulder blade area opf the left side, and has been taking significant chunks of fur off her....??? Not in an aggressive manner or nothing, just on the odd occassion he's gripping her and pulling off fur as if asking her to play etc?? She's near baldy on one patch?

What is this??

Well I've never saw it before? In any persons' akita who I know!

I notice when he puts his paws on me he tends to use his claws like fingers, and pulls them along my leg etc.......this must be what he is doing to her,   his claws are not big, nor sharp but they seem to be tearing her fur out....

is it where he would grip her if he mated her? maybe she likes it!!!
