Hi Cally

I always advise my puppies new owners not to exercise their new pup too much, two ten minutes walks a day up until about 4 months old and increasing to 15 mins untill 6 months and about 30 mins there after. I pesonally don't take puppies out for really long walks ( eg, 2-3hrs) untill they are over a year old. This is because labs can get hip dysplasia as you probably know. Hip dysplasia is not just hereditary, you can increase the chances of it by overdoing exercise, letting the puppy run up and down stairs and by a poor quality diet. This Is just my opinion, but I hope it helps, hope you and your puppy have lots of fun together.

Kerry.
