Have you tried either Hide and Collar or Accolade leather?

As far as i am aware, pigskin although strong is very thin, at least i dont seem to be able to buy it in the right weight to make collars from. I and i know at least Hide and Collar, LINE collars with pigskin if requested to do so.

What sort of collar exactly are you after? Im presuming a rolled leather show lead......

Accolade do red leads and collars, they are leather but I doubt pigskin. Are you sure it is pigskin you want and not just a very good quality hide?

i am looking for pig leather as it is very soft therefore wont damage my tibetan terriers coat i dont want any chain on the lead i want more of a slip lead

i got talking to a lady at crufts who said she would be able to get someone to make some for me but i never got her name but she has mine

Georgina, I know of a man that makes show leads. He has made three for my wheaten terriers and they are very good quality and only £16.00. They are nice and soft and he hand makes them so if you wanted something specific (make it longer or something) he will do it. Not sure what colour he does them in as when we wanted wheaten ones he made us wheaten colour ones. Im pretty sure that he will do them in red and black. PM me if you would like his number. HTH.
