my little chihuahua became unwell thurs last week . sleeping all the time and listless. i took him to the vet. she never smiled once or had any bedside manner. she just stared at us and then gave him a needle for antibiotic and another for pain. that night he came around a little. today he slept all day and could hardly get up to greet me. i rang vet who said come down in two hours. two hours later he was seen. i had to push to get an xray but they said its too late now . have to be tommorow.i asked did she have any ideas as to what it could be. she didnt even touch him. she said , coul be pneumonia. im so worried i feel sick. is it treatable. its been a few days now. hes asleep again. trying not to go crazy with worry.  any words of advice. he is only tiny. hes my baby.

your vets dont seem to be very sympathetic, i would try finding another vet as your dog does'nt seem right and i dont blame you for worrying, i'm not sure why he's doing it though. it could be a number of things.

So sorry about your little boy, can't offer any advice other than, if it were me, I would change my vets :(  They don't sound very caring. Its horrible when you feel helpless to help them, I know I've been there with my girl.

Hi..... I can understand why your worried, i would be too. If it is pneumonia just keep your baby warm, maybe put a hotwater bottle in his bed with him......hope the vet shifts of her backside and sorts your baby out. Take care. kerry xxx
