Guest your first port of call should be the dogs breeder.  any responsible breeder should be wiling to help you. :D 

If it were one of my pups I would be most upset if you tried to rehome a dog without contacting me first.  Most breeders worthy of the name take a lifelong interest and responsibility for the pups they bring into this world.  the other kind of puppy producer is not worthy of the title breeder :(

Sorry I obviously haven't worded this correctly. I want to rescue a young GSD or GSDX but am not sure if there are any breed rescues in East Anglia area.
