Quality!! Is my answer to you :D
Actually I have never run the dishie after my husband has ever put stuff in it (which is rarer than a Preston Guild) without totally taking everything out and starting again. Poor little soul do you think I am damaging him?

I havnt even got one so i cant answer that :(

Hubby insists on putting jars for recycling in the dishwasher - the only problem is that the labels come off and end up stuck onto something else :( Other than that, I have him well trained :D

Theres only one way to load the dishwasher in my house, and thats MY way!!!!!!!
Although hands up I AM the only adult in my house LMAO
I say quantity, the more I can pack in the better, and if an item needs a second do, so be it LOL
Lea :)
Hi im the only one in my house that loads it full stop lol

Quality every time. I like the dishes to get a really good spray of water and detergent. My OH tries bless him however, I was really quite angry at him the other night as he never cleaned the plates off properly and I had bits of lettuce blocking up the filter grrrrr. I doubt he'll ever do it again tho :D

Alii you sound just like my husband  :D
Does anybody else sometimes make microwave scrambled eggs ? If you do then like me, do you insist on putting the bowl through the dishwasher about 20 times before you admit defeat to get it clean ? :D

Fairy Power Spray has to be the BEST thing for scrambled egg dishes - soak the dish with cold water and a squirt of FPS before putting it in the dishwasher, and it will come clean first time ;)
Hubby goes for quality over quantity, but somehow fails by putting bowls inverted over the roasting pan :(.............
He also has an aversion to running it overnight if it's only part full :(
I believe it's better to run it part full on Economy 7, than to wait until it's full and run it on full rate electric......

Fairy power spray is boss does exactly what it says on the tin!!!!(spray)

Lucy please tell me the shape bit of the knife is down PLEASE>.. 2 people will killed in the space of 10 days before Xmas last year through fallening on the dishwasher with knifes up.. it is a fear of mine with my family.,
I middle aged lady in the UK and a teenager girl in the USA all in 10 days.
I have everything up except scissors and knifes. Low and behold anyone who has a knife up in my house :-)
It is a wee fixation of mine ( you can tell eh?? )

The worst hubby is the one who puts the dirty coffee cup into the top of the dishwasher when the cycle has finished and everything WAS clean :D :D
or the hubby who refuses to empty the dishwasher because even after 28years of being married still doesn't " know where everything lives in the kitchen?"
Or the one who overloads the kitchen bin until it overflows onto the floor rather than emptying it :D
or puts the empty milk bottle back into the fridge??
oh I could go on and on and on and on...

That's because your house must be like mine Blue, and the four step walk from the bathroom to the airing cupboard where the spare rolls are kept, is much to far to expect most household members to walk especially if it takes them out of their pathway downstairs!

We have four loos and you can put place a sure bet that no matter which loo you go to there is never any loo roll. The loo roll storage place is alway fully stocked
I also get told off for the toothpaste lid never being put on correctly, loosing the remote control, to name but a few :) At least I am consistant ! :D

>Who's family leave the empty toliet roll on the holder gggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I am sure mine do it on purpose. ;-)<
Mostly mine do too - but on the odd occasion they do replace it, it's always when there's a new bag of loo rolls, you know, the sort with the draw string in the top so it can be closed? But do they open it the way it's supposed to be opened? Do they heck! It's always ripped down the side, so the drawstring bit doesn't work!!!!

I load my dishwasher like this:
Cook dinner
Tell children that the dishes need doing
Watch children wash and dry dishes
:D :D :D

At least you won't have to call a dishwasher repair man out if you have a malfunction :D Just threaten the dishwasher with 'no pocket money' and that should do the trick ! :D So what happens when the dishwasher becomes too old to do it and decide to leave home ?
