Yes! I do agree some samoyeds are a little vocal, but not all, I have a very laid back dog
that is not at all vocal, But! my sam bitch does back answer, I am sure she would have
a full blown conversation with you if she could. But! they are not as bad as a lot of yapping
dogs. I was brought up with Samoyeds, from my gandparents to my parents, now myself and my daughter. But! there are many loving breeds. I think you need to see the parents of your
puppy, then decide.

A lot depends on training.  If you know that your breeds tendencies are to be vocal you gear your training to discourage barking.  If you have a dog with strong herding chasing insticnts you make sure you discourage behaviour and situations where these could cause problems (car and jogger chasing etc).  this is why knowing the inherent traits in a pure breed is so essential and so helpful to an owenre in helping to get the most out of their choice.
