hi.. i have 2 black lab dogs both two and a half years old.. they are wonderful and my best mates.. they have a the space in the world to run and i spend every spare minute playing and walking them ..at least 2-3 miles every day twice a day and maybe an hour or two in the garden for a cuddle and games..as well. one of my dogs the dominant character barks like a seal when i put him in his run for a short time or if i go inside and leave him in the garden. the seal bark is a real attention seeking bark and it sounds totally different to when he is barking at someone arriving at the house is there anything i could do to stop this annoying baehaviour...also he growls when i try to get him out of the car and if i try to take a bone off him it has to be his way or nothing..i love him dearly and i am afraid he is changing for the worst....please help me

Have you thought about *why* he's barking, if he's seeking attention, then don't give it to him when he's barking, but make a big thing of giving him attention the minute he's stopped.. As for removing bones - if he's that possesive - why give him a bone? A bone is a priveledge, not a right..... Getting out of the car - maybe he injures himself slightly jumping down - do you have an estate or a saloon? Would he be more comfortable taking his own time and perhaps being provided with a step?
