My son is keen to buy a dog, they type of dog is actually on TV, infortunatly Im not sure of the breed, Can any one help. The dog is in the new star trek series Enterprise which is on sky one monday evenings.
I would be gratefully if any one coud help

Hmmm, I am not going to be much help as I do not watch Star Trek, however, what I will say is that seeing a breed of dog on TV is not the way to go about buying/choosing a dog! It may be a breed that is totally incompatible with your sons housing/lifestyle/bank balance, let alone be suitable for someone who (I presume) is a 1st time dog owner. If someone can let us know what the breed is, maybe we can offer more help from that point onwards as to a suitable dog for your son.

Yes it is a Beagle, but it looks rather smaller than the average Beagle, although I dare say it could be a puppy, but I did read somewhere that they have smaller Beagles in the US than in the UK :D

Hi all, I believe these are called pocket beagles and there are one or two breders of them in this country

cute as they are a beagle needs lots of exercise as theyre hounds, i dont think they can be trusted off a leash either---is your son up to lots of walking,--- the main one on cats and dogs is a beagle-,check it out

beagles are great little dogs but when i workedin kennels our trainer had one in to train and it was the only dog he admitted defeat with it just was not interested as soon s its nose hit the floor that was it off it went
