We have an eleven year old beagle who we can no longer look after due to a change in our circumstances. We got her from Ayr as a puppy and have lost details of breeder who told us if we found we couldn't look after her at any point we could take her back. I think the breeders name was Mrs Bothwell. Can anyone help us locate or does anyone want to give our Tessa a home for her final years? Any help or suggestions are welcome, Thanks

Mrs Bothwell is a very respected breed person.  If you contact any of the breed clubs they should be able to contact her for you, or once they have permisson pass on her details to you.

Post the details on dogpages.co.uk - it's a rescue site and you will find someone to take her for the rest of her life.

As the breeder is known and the poster was told to contact them if the dog ever needed rehoming that should be their port of call.  Thankfully good breeders take seriously lifelong responsibility for their puppies and would be most upset if they were passed on without their knowledge :D
