Doing protection work with a pitbull lookalike will result in one thing your dog facing a death sentence.

I have had manwork dogs in the past & before even thinking of introducing the dog to the sleeve(correct protection work is focused on the sleeve & not the helper)you have to have 110% control over your dog & sorry any bull breed would need to be under 200% control before you even think of training

Do not forget if your dog bites ANYONE even an attacker it would end up in court under the DDA

You have been told several times Pit Bull Terriers are banned under the DDA & if you think a genuine member from these forums will supply you with one you better think again

I think you have already been told that they are banned in the UK, and those around at the time and exempted after being neutered chipped and tattooed cannot be sold or given away, and why would you want a dog of over 15 years old anyway???

A dog that age would not be fit enough to train for working trials, and it would take you many years at the lower CD, and TD stakes before you would be likley to reach the PD stake.
