Hi does anyone know what dry food is the best, I have tried hills natures best and my german shepherds get the runs, they dont eat beta, so I need one with lots of flavour and does give them an upset tummy.

There is only the best food for your dog, this may differ between individuals.

One that a huge amount of people have success with is Burns

Alternatively vacuum packed food that is also very successful with a lot of dogs is

Just a quick rec for Burns here too, I use this on all my dogs and it is a great food.  Jo, do you actually advocate not feeding a dog every day??  Whilst wild wolves may not eat every day, it is not out of choice - only because of what is available.  Domestic dogs should be fed at least once a day, preferably twice, to keep blood sugar levels constant and their condition optimal.

Dogs unlike humans have fewer taste buds they have a far greater sense of Smell
So if your looking for a food with lots of flavour your dog won't be able to distinguish once it hit his mouth. Before you start chopping and changing his diet it might be worth
Looking at his feeding routine .dogs don't have to eat every day and some dogs decide to fast themselves people some times think this means  the dog going off his food. and start the never ending search for a food their dogs like (dogs are not fussy eaters but humans are fussy feeders)Loose stools can also be attributed to over feedings it might be worth checking how much your feeding it not always what's recommended ._jo
