This is about my Tasha, have any of you heard of a dogs inmune system breaking down, the vet said it was not because of the boosters !!! sorry for keeping on about her i feel so guilty for having her pts even though she could not stand up or eat. she was a Cavalier small black/tan.

Sorry, I have not heard of this before in dogs so can not offer any advice. But do not feel sorry for talking about it, you are grieving and will be for a long while yet, so if you need to talk and ask questions then do. If she couldn't stand or eat then you have definately done the right thing as she would have had no quality of life. She is at rainbow bridge playing with all her new friends.

I lost a TIbetan Mastiff to this illness about 10 years ago (It do's not seem that long) but we had steriods and scrapping done the the whole system turned in on itself and shut down the organs, so in the end we had to make the decision to let him go after 4 years of treatment.

I still feel guilty that I maybe should have given up earlier with him as he must have been suffering
