I have just been on that same web site and can't beleive what people are selling.

Springer spaniel bitch 3 yrs old and has had two litters, self whelper, good brood bitch, not kc reg

Springer spaniel bitch 11 month, may be pregnant, been running with male during season, quite big so expect a ltter if you buy this dog, not kc reg (same owner)

Blue staffords £700 - £1000 (no health tests stated)

Blue staffords £900 - £1000 (no health tests stated) This is not my breed so I don't if these cost more than other colours but it does sound abit extreme, maybe someone could enlighten me!!!!!

Various dogs at stud, not one of them stated health tests

Various cross breeds at stupid prices.

And people wanting to swap their dogs for another breed.

This makes me so angry to see how little people care about their animals and are only out to make money.

staffs are my breed and some owners try and sell blues at this very high price as blues are supposed to be very rare!!!! yes they are a lovely colour but theres nothing saying there temprement is brill !! its just a fad at the moment and people that pay that much for a pup must be very silly!! and as for the rest of the ad the only thing that springs to mind is puppy farm and the sooner the goverment get a grip on this sort of inhumane practice the better.

I agree about the colour it is nice but its a shame people exploit it for money. Its the same with my breed, I have got a chocolate bitch and whenever i take her where there is alot of people they always stop me, today I must of had 15 people stop and talk to us when we went round the sunday market, some wanting to know if I was going to breed her (no was the answer) and the rest saying "i really want a dog that colour". but if I take a black or yellow one hardly anyone stop to talk.

I did read in a magazine a few months ago that the welsh might be able to get grants to be able to set up dog breeding facilities (puppy farms in other words) don't think it ever happened though, thank god, I will have to try and find the artical.
