Hi today my 7mth old blue merle shiloh started barking constantly  but this time his bark was different,i kept telling him to be quiet but it got worse his brother cheyanneanne also a blue merle kept running in as if to tell me something so i followed him out into the garden and shiloh was looking up to the sky barking then all of a sudden he started to howl he has never done this before apart from the howling when he was only 7wks old so i looked up to see what he was barking at and it was half a moon i found this so strange after a few minutes of being out there cheyanneanne also started to bark and howl has any one else ever experenced anything like this with there dogs

It's not uncommon - my old bitch used to howl at the full moon at night.......  Have they ever been frightened by a hot air balloon?

hi thank you for replying,no they have never ever seen a hot air balloon the only thing that has flown over is helicoptors but they havent taken an interest in them
