I have a Springer that is eight months old, and I would like to know the best way to learn about showing him. I have just started Ringcraft classes, and am looking to go to some local shows.

I have a very good book by Peggy Grayson about showing. It's the New Exhibitor's Guide to Dog Showing and the Showring. It's available through Amazon and is a really good read. It covers everything from the types of shows, how not to dress yourself, filling out the forms, moving around the ring and a whole lot more besides.

It's really easy to read and full of good advice.

No, it covers showing in general rather than specific breeds - it's a really good read, very easy to follow and very clearly written. I use this book for showing advice and get specific advice from my ringcraft instructor as she has Cockers.
