There is also one on on a Tuesday in Shenstone village hall in Sutton Coldfield. It is on at 8:00pm till 9:00ish it cost £2.50 and you pay each week. It is run buy south staffs dog training and here is there website http://www.southstaffsdogtraining.com it says that it is run on Thursday on the website but that is the old one. You can bring your daughter along and if she is interested in junior handling then there are 4 junior handlers at our ringcraft (me included) Hope this helps.

Carolyn, I would be interested if info on the Cannock one if you wouldn't mind as I have a friend that wants to go to ringcraft nearer to her. Thanks :)

The one in Cannock is well run and big enough to do triangles.

They do it as a small show and even have little prizes for each class.

Yeah that is the same as the one that we go to :) They have match night when you can win a trophy for best handler and so on.

You pay each night, think its £2.00. plus a £1 for the raffle.
Take the dog :-) show lead and collar,
what type of dog is it you have?

You can bring your daughter and they will help you.

There is a bar too for a pint ;-)

Im not the best for directions but where you coming from?
- By robbersdog [gb] Date 14.04.05 18:38 UTC
Thank you for the info, I have a Parson Russell terrier, who is nearly ten months old.
I feel really nervous about turning up on my own - may need the pint or two! Sounds silly I guess to feel nervous, but I want to make some doggie friends as all of my other friends are anti pet never mind dogs and so they think I am a nutter and give me funny looks when I talk about dogs, shows etc.
- By carolyn Date 14.04.05 18:59 UTC
Not silly at all.
Come along on Tuesday bring your pup and daughter
and if you promise not to eat all the pork scratchings you can
meet us there.
The first step is the hardest the 2nd is addictive, please come along.
- By wheaten_mad [gb] Date 14.04.05 19:04 UTC
Im coming from hammerwich/burntwood.

Thanks so much for your encouragement, will try to see you there. Do I have to ask for anyone in particular when I get there? So I can join, pay etc?
