Over the past couple of days we have noticed alot of bits of toys in are garden, balls, cars, a piece of a toy race track to name a few and we assumed that next doors little boy had thrown them over the fence for Ralph - as he adores him!
Only to discover that Ralph has been busting into next doors garden! I caught his riggling bum popping through the fence last night. In the last three days he has chewed three nails out of the dividing fence which has made two slats loose. He holds one with his paw and shoots through! He has been pinching the little boys toys next door and putting them in his own garden.
My husband went right out and nailed it down again straight away.
Our neighbours are lovely so I had to knock to tell them - My worst fear was that he had done a poo in their garden!
They laughed and said they hadn't even noticed (thankfully) and there three year old found it quite funny too.
The fence is now fixed, no more little excursions for Ralph!
You are a spoil sport, I bet he's quite upset that he can't get through, poor luv. I bet he tries again somewhere else along the fence. CAZ

Hmm - reminds me of Simba (long since gone to the Rainbow Shore) .. he would sit down & watch OH repairing fence, and making it Simba-proof - and then go and find the next weak spot

Once the entire fence had been repaired, he took to jumping the 5-ft high fence - and the one in the next garden - and the one in the next - and the next - until he could get out onto the road!!!!
We settled him eventually - by adding very flimsy trellising to the tops of the fences (and so did our lovely neighbours).

Oh gosh, I hope Ralph doesn't turn out to be good at High Jump! What breed of dog was Simba Margot...he sounds very much like Ralph.

Yep 100% Every characteristic, except the barking - he's not a barker but a real water baby.

How old is he? Freya is just 17 months old, and up until now has been a "yelper" ..... her voice is beginning to "break" - and I don't know who is most astonished at the sound that she is making - Freya herself, or the Aussies!!!
Thor and Beau just STARED at her when she barked in the garden this morning - and the Aussie girls just went into an absolute frenzy!!! Herself looked around as if to see where the noise was coming from :D

Margot, he was six months old on the 12th April. He has only barked once - when the window cleaner appeared in the backgarden about six weeks ago, since then not a sound out of him, he doesn't really cry much either.
Last night he tried very hard to pull the new nails out (undercover) if he caught us watching him he would walk off and pretend to be playing with his ball!
Oh you've gotta love em.
