Another long night at the vets :-(

My poor little girl started breathing fast, panting & making grunting noises so I asked my neighbour to take us back to the vets.

She had not told me she had been taking sleeping tablets & after mounting the pavment, driving on the wrong side of the road & banging in to a rounderbout I had to pull the wheel over & make her stop.

I was running around loads of houses trying to find someone awake whos phone I can use. (It was 1 in the morning)
Finally woke father-in-law up & he took us the rest of the way.

By this time blue was quite ill & the vet said she had a reaction to the anesthetic from her on section on sunday. We got home just after 3.

She is home now & a bit better but I have to take her back this afternoon.

I will let you know how she goes on.

What is the latest news on the pups mum? I hope you are both recovering ok after such an ordeal.

hi jo i hope mum is ok now, my harleys mum developed eclampsia when the litter was 3 weeks old she very nearly died if his breeder hadnt took her to the vets at 2am the vet said she would of been dead by the morning

Its me who is worn out!

Trying to work out what colours 2 of them are though. When they are next to their black brothers & sisters they look blue, but when next to their blue mum they look black??!!!

The owner of the stud is comming to see them soon so I am hoping he can tell me - lol

Pleased to hear your bitch is recovering.  I find that sometimes coat length can cause the light to reflect differently and make them look different colours, even a fraction of an inch.

Glad everything has gone ok,they are such aworry at times.
