My boxer puppy(13 weeks today) has just had its second injection on monday(11/4/05). how long after the injection should i wait until i can take her out for a walk?   Just we are both getting cabin fever!!

Vet suggested 10 days.  Which seemed a bit much.

Your vet should have told you how long to wait but it is usually between 7-14 days after the 2nd injection

Your vet will have a better guess at the level of risk in your area than any of us.

For years it was 14 days after the 2nd vaccine , somewhere along the way vets seem to say 7 days after BUT me personally ;-))) I think you are best to wait 10-14 days to be honest. I think that there is no point in taking risks for a few days.

Don't over exercise the pup :-))

Do what your vet advises.

Personally I take mine out before their first injection but that is a risk I choose to take.
