We have just got a new dog...he is three years old and is fantastic, the only thing is that he keeps peeing up everything in the house! I have not made an issue of it..just cleaned it up, but i go out of the room and he has done it again! I dont know whats best..to draw attention to it and tell him no or just wait for him to settle in a bit (only had him since thurs)
Also we have a bitch so could this be why he is doing it? she is not in season or anything and they are both outside together during the day..its just when he comes into the house.
Another thing is that they sleep in the house at night and when i came down this morning my bitch had weed in the middle of the floor...i know its her cos i know her smell and he had peed up the sofa!!
Any advice appreciated.
My new boy was 6 years old and never lived in a house, it only took a week to stop him. I just told him no, took him outside and left him there for a short while. He now goes to other peoples houses and is so clean.
When I got him his breeder told me that he shouldn't live in a house because he'd spray everwhere. Maybe I was lucky but he's been brilliant. Has the odd accident now and again in the kitchen at night times and when I'm not there, but this is very infrequent.
I used Bio washing powder to clean up afterwards as this is supposed to stop them from doing it. Worked for me :d
