Please excuse me if I am asking daft questions here but I am doing this on behalf of a friend who has toy poodles but no computer .. I have the computer but no dog!
My friend has a black toy bitch & would like to find a black toy dog to mate her with .... they live in Surrey so it would probably best if any possible dog came from the south-east .. is this something your site/members can help with?
Many thanks
janet

Your friend will need to realise that there is an awful lot to be considered when considering becoming a breeder. A breeder has a lifelong responsibility to the pups she/he breeds, as well as a responsibility to the breed to attempt to produce only puppies of quality as gauged against the breed standard.

For the above reason it is unlikely that any RESPONSIBLE stud dog owner would offer their dog to be used by the owner of a bitch that is not a proven excellent specimin. Poodles also have several health problems that would need to be checked for, principally eye problems!

The following are some American Web sites that will give some foood for thought, and you could print them off for your friend!
