I saw a Akita that was much bigger than the one you show and it was almost solid tan.  The owner said it was a Japan Akita do you know of such a dog.  She said it was registeres.  It looked more like a mastis and akita  Thank you

I think they meen a Japanese Akita which is the correct name anyway. They can be huge dogs.
