Hi, I take it your asking about my adults

- they don't seem to feel like food at breakfast so have a good morning run, sleep that off and then when they've been awake again for an hour or so they get their first meal of the day, around lunchtime :) That's one of the reasons I feed their second meal later at night - puts something in their tummy late on and they're less likely to burn it off.
But remember, everyone's different. If I was out at work all morning for eg., then they'd be wanting a good run when I came home so probably most part-time workers feed a breakfast and then a second meal at around supper time. And of course there are still a lot of people who feed only once a day. Don't worry about any of this yet because he obviously needs fed more than adults just now - as your dog gets older you will work round a routine that suits him AND you ;)
Any puppies I have are fed in the morning - starting at 7-30 am (roughly) for those on 4 x daily, and 9-30(ish) for 3 x daily. (Yippee, that's when I can start to have a longer lie in! - just never quite mastered the early night ....)
HTH, good luck, Teri
