Well your advice is working!!! Big thank you. He has been to poo twice now in the "area" and had numerous wees there. I had to take him there when he started to sniff the ground somewhere else but he continued once he was there and went. I am very pleased and very proud of him. He has also gone to the back door the last 2 times he has wanted to go, you are a star Michelle and any advice you have in the furture will be most welcome. Thanks again and I will let you know how he gets on, only if you want me to though.x

hiya, was not on computor yesterday. glad its going well!
yes please keep me updated!!
do you use a word whilst hes "going"? i use "quick-quicks" & "poo-poohs" now mine will "preform "on command if they need to go. saves alot of time when they are grown up!!!!!
if you dont, whilst hes "doing" say the word & wjhen hes finished say "good XXXX",keep saying it for a week or two & he will soon get it

they stand for whatever "word" you want to use!!!! or anything else if you are feeling naughty!-well your word could be anything, but hopefully something you CAN use in public!!!!

Hi Michelle,
Our word is "go toilet" so it means number ones and twos! He is doing brilliantly. When he is let out to toilet he goes straight to his area but if he has been out for a while playing he gets a bit confused, so I pick him up and put him in his area and then he goes. He does not try to walk off once he is there.
The lead is working too and he gets plenty of praise and let off for free play straight after he has been. Your advice has been excellent and I am very greatfull.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks again.xxx

Well we have just got back from doing a bit of socialising! Been to B&Q and a couple of garden centres. He thought it was great with all these people wanting to fuss him, didn't seem too bothered by it all, but he is incredibly laid back. By doing what you suggested he really doesn't mind the lead now either. xxx
