LOL,
I did this once, when my youngest was a baby. I had to take him to baby clinic and was in a rush (not good in the mornings at the best of times but with new baby!!!!

) I dolled myself up and got there just in time (read late!!) and all the nurses wanted to see him and talk to me cause he was 3 months prem and had had a rough time. I had my check up, he had his, how was I coping?? - marvellous, he's so relaxed and easy going blah blah! Then went for a walk in town, market day, everyone wanted to stop and chat (we were famous ;) ) Got home and looked in the mirror to find one eye made up and one not

I wondered why I'd got so many wierd looks

So no! you're not alone :D:D

LOL at Josie :D
That's nothing...I went for 2 days away with boyfriend at the time...we drove for over 150 kilometers...stopped for coffee on the way.....walked around there....got our vouchers for the hotel...when walking back to the car I realised I was not wearing a bra !! :o
As it was 16:45 on a thursday I had to find a shop in a city I had never been before to find a new bra !
(didn't pack one either since it was only 2 days and 1 night ...)

I spent half an hour walking round the hospital yesterday with a paper clip in my fringe, which I'd put there whilst in the office to keep my hair out of my eyes (always forget my hair grips). Who knows, I might start a new 'hair fashion craze' :D :D :D

Myself and my closest friend sometimes enjoy going out on coach trips, as I (as the driver) actually get to see some of our beautiful countryside. Off we went on one of our trips, up to Banbury, in Oxon. Had a "pee and a tea" stop part-way there and alighted from the coach, me first friend behind. As I turned to help her down steps I noticed she had odd shoes on!
I'm always winding her up and saying she's lost the plot, if she ever had it in the first place (she is 10 years older than me) - fortunately she has a fab sense of humour and just cracks up laughing when she does daft stuff.

Got to my first champshow, remembered dog + kit, food for OH, everything........except the tickets

which were 3 hours away on the dining room table  People in the car in front of us laughed hysterically, thats when I realised they had experience of this ;) so they told me what to do and calmed me down enough to get going bless them :)

Kayc :d :d
A few weeks ago I got everything ready for our club AGM. Items for tomobola, sales items packed and ready in the car. Bag ready in the car. Car keys in my hand and pick up tickets for Discover Dogs to hand out. Whoops, no car keys in my hand!!!! Luckily just had enough money in my coat pocket to use at a public phone so set off in the search of one. Phoned my mum to come to my house with the spare key to the car. Got keys rushed off and forgot the tickets to hand out for DD's.
Yep, I'm totally losing it at 33. Though there again I haven't got to the point where I'm setting off for a show in my PJ's and slippers, so I've stil got some sanity :d

Just sitting here all alone OH and son away well had a right good laugh reading all these posts neighbours must think I've got a man in !!!! :)

Now wouldn't you just know it - but I'm shameless anyway, so I'll own up :D
Fact:-
Several years ago we had friends staying over from down South for SKC - they'd brought 7 dogs with them so between organising sleeping arrangements, lots of exercising, OH insisting everyone got a full scottish breakfast before departing and then packing up the two separate modes of transport it all became quite a rush.
Anyway, eventually locked up the house, got into our car and thankfully, just before we'd actually pulled away, realised our own two dogs that were entered were still snuggled up on top of our bed  Could have been a lot worse - might have actually reached the motorway before we'd noticed! They, on the other hand, looked liked they'd deliberately kept quiet and out of the way ..... :P

LOL Kay,
My excuse is my heart's in the right place but my head's up my #@$& (don't think I'd be allowed to say that in full - but you probably get the gist :P )

lol @ Teri :D :D

I had a friend in Chi's who actually drove all the way to Scotland for a dog show without the dog!! They'd put all the bags in etc. and forgotten the poor thing. How they got all the way there without realising I never know :d
