Im sat sweeping all the dust and dog hair from round the corners, along comes Moss rolls in it then shakes, like how am i surpose to tidy lol. Then Ollie runs and gets his ball because im moving round the house that MUST mean play time. If i go to put the leads away they are all going to run through my piles of dust lol.
Dogs and tidying just dont happen!

I know what you mean. I had a collie X GSD and I just left the hoover out to clean up his fur, I couldn't keep getting it out the cover. I decided that the next dog was going to have short fur (getting a rottie).
I am still finding Barines fur and he died 5 weeks ago.

I totally agree, my pup was attached to broom today as I was trying to sweep the lounge! Then he found the dustpan and brush even more fun.lol

Great now that I know that I am not the only one with this problem I can destress. They come in wet with the mud on the coats and then dry off in the kitchen and have dust storms.I think I am going to tile every floor in the house.

That just what we've done ! - even the stairs - you're welcome to come and have a look if you're thinking of having it done ( I know you're not far from me :)) We've also painted all the walls white so we only have to paint up to 'dog level' each spring to keep it looking clean LOL

Good idea Yvonne, we have had wood put down in all living areas, well eveywhere except the bedrooms. It is great, just a sweep clean and a good mopping every now and then. I have put a massive rug down in the lounge so we can play with pup without him slipping all over the place! That just needs a sweep or shake as it is not like carpet, not sure what it is made out of but it is quite rough. Never thought of tiles. :)

hi i have two newfoundland pups and they get covered in mud i am forever washing the floor sweepig and washing down woodwork and walls where their tails hit against.
i use to be so housepround i already had three other breeds which never caused a problem but the pups have great delight in mud rolling and the dry dust that comes off them keeps me busy dusting.
