Hello all, I am new to the board and this is my first posting, I hope someone can help a little! I have a mutt mix named Bear, he is 5 years old and a nightmare to walk. Bear is actually my husbands dog, mine is an Old English Mastiff, who walks right on lead. Bear has always been a puller, we have gotten that PRETTY much under control, however, if he is given ANY slack on the lead he runs ahead and zig zags back and forth constantly... it is VERY annoying on a walk. When I take my Mastiff out and Bear does not come along he gets VERY upset and barks and cries, so we want to have Bear with us as well. What can we do to help Bear learn that zig zag is NOT the way to walk? It gets very annoying for all of us.. my mastiff included.....
Thank you in advance
Stacey

Hi
Not sure where you are based, but if you are in the UK and near the Midlands Kay is running a days workshop THIS Sunday at Warwickshire Agricultural College, Moreton Morrell. Not sure if there are still places, but you will find more information re this day on the website that Tohme referred you to.
Hi, sorry I have no advice for you but I would love to see what your Old English Mastiff looks like. I have never heard of them before, what do they look like? I imagine they are big, if I PM you my email could you send me a pic please??? I bet he is lovely.x
Do you know what breed is in the mix? Possibly a gundog breed? My Anton walks as though he's out on the hunt even when he's on the lead and drives me mad too!
