right now i need all of you kind people to help me decide.
i have a chance to go away for the weekend with hubby but im not sure if i want to i think i do but i dont no see what i mean.
The problem is my pup my sister inlaw is willing to come and stay to look after house, children and dogs but my eldest is a bit dopey and often leaves the gate open so i am constantly shouting make sure you shut the gate.Im also often saying dont step on the pup even though she is now an inch taller than my collie.
then their is the house i will have to make sure everything is spik and span as last time i went away i came back feeling totaly degraded as sister iinlaw cleaned from top to bottom even though it was fine as it was i was made to feel it wasnt.
of course my children want me to go as they get away with a lot with sister inlaw so no prob their.
then their is making sure my dogies are fead correctly and on time the list goes on need to wright down all the commands pups has been taught or else she will be confused to.
Then theirs packing
All of this to have a break.
what would you do ?

Most definitely go. Life is too short. My parents go away every year and mum always frets about her cats, but they're always well looked after by us all, and that's for six weeks at a time! Go on - spoil yourself - however, don't spend the entire weekend worrying about your pets, that'll spoil things! If you're going to go away make sure you make the most of it and relax :)

I say go for it! You can always ring while youre away to make sure everything is ok!

Yes go, you worry too much !!
Enjoy it !

I also say go..... enjoy yourself forget about the cleaning of the house if your sister in law wants to do it let her .We always worry about everything when we go away especially leaving young animals bet they'll be spoilt rotten and a few pounds heavier when you get back :)

I had this worry recently as my OH wanted to take my away for the weekend but it meant me putting the dogs in kennels, my mum is having them when I go for a week but this is 4 days and fairly soon so mum could not get up here.
As our flight is at 6am I would either have had to take the dogs in the evening before but Thai has just started her KCGC training and I don't want to miss the second week, so they have to really go in the day I go but this means my neighbour taking them to the kennels for me which is all well and good if I only had Thai as she loves cars and will go anywhere but Bali hates cars and will only get in the car if I sit and he puts his legs on my lap, then I can struggle lifting the great lump in.
So I am having to ensure that my neighbour has my car keys so he can put the dogs in their crates and then give him a list of what they do or don't like, how much they eat, their Vacc certificates, toys, bedding etc etc etc etc!
It is a bit of a nightmare and I will be thinking of them but once I know they are safe in the kennels I will be able to enjoy my break in the sun which I feel I deserve after the year I had last year!
Go for it, they will be fine - you can not control every situation as I have learnt and relax, it will be great to have time away from it all :)

Go, I had a friend who put their puppy first. She's still got the pup but not the OH !!

Go!!! look at it this way, you are getting a free cleaner for a week, make sure she does the ironing as well:D
