Tammy, your questions are all still there.

You need to register with the forum for people to even consider taking you seriously.
It is against forum rules for someone to repeatedly post on the visitors board.

Im not sure who came up with the title "troll" or exactly what it means, but people who ask silly (in the opinion of the more senior board members it seems) questions will be labelled a WUM, wind up merchant and their post be flamed with such statements.

I urge you to join the forum, it is free and easy to do and you shouldnt get much flack for your posts until roughtly a week after you join.

Actually the term is nothing to do with this iste but a well known internet phenomenon.  Troll descrobes peopel who dleiberately set out to cause upset or trouble on forums by starting inflamatory topics or those guarnteded to upset people.

As for flack, if you get any it will only be if you choose to get involved with personal abuse, or anything to do with causing harm to our canine freinds.

Of course, even some of the people who are registered still have troll like tendancies :) Not all trolls are anonymous guests (just a point to help newbies :) )

Hi Tammy. This link should help explain how the word is used all over the Internet. Unfortunately (possibly because it's the school holidays) we had a spate of silly posts, so Admin put that notice onto the heading of all Guest posts as a reminder. Obviously there are some completely genuine posters such as yourself whose posts also get this heading, which is a shame, but it's certainly helped to keep the temperature down on the Forum!

Hope this helps!
:)
