Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my msg. I am a new and proud owner of (Dobbie) my standard poodle, i have had him since he was 5 mths he is now 11 mths old. My question is how old do you have to wait till you can stud him and how do i advertise about his services. because i'm new to all this i do need all the info and help i can possably get.

Have a read of the first post on the Breeding forum of this site.

He will need to have passed all the breed relevant tests (hips, eyes etc) for inherited conditions, and the best place to advertise him is the showring - if he does well, bitch owners will ask if they can use him. If he's never seen you'll never be asked!
