Hi all. Just thought I'd ask if anyone has a lead that allows you to attatch 2 dogs to it. I did see one on 2 dogs months ago and with forthcoming hoidays would like to get one so I could walk both the girls on my own. If not does anyone have any suggestions on the best and least painful to me option. Thanks

You can get something called a "couple" from petshops, this is made of chain, leather or nylon and is basically to short leads joined together by a ring that you attach a normal lead to.  I have one for my boys but neither are really good at walking to heel so I get pulled all over the place :(

Hi Molly,

I walk my two big boys on separate leads because, to be honest, I think I have more control over them that way.  On separate leads I have the option of either keeping both leads in one hand and both boys to the left, or, if needs be, one on either side.  Having them on leads of their own means I can control them individually and I find it easier to keep them walking at the same pace that way. If mine were on a couple I'd have the same problem as Blondebird :D

Same here I walk my five on individual leads (same type but five different colours, so that they are easy to unravel).

I used one of these for my two girls, but I found it hard to control, plus my staffs had twice the pulling power LOL.

I take it you have one arm longer than than the other too, sarstaff !!  Wouldn`t have it any other way.

American Ebay do the splitters we got ours from there 3 years ago with the leaders cheaper than we could get over here.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to stick with the 2 leads. I've only just recovered from a broken wrist and don't really fancy my chances with both on one arm. They maybe little but whren they see a cat I won't stand a chance. Thanks again.

Hi there.  I've used the "couple" to walk two labs, and it worked very well.
