Hi, i'm new to this website and ive got a question that i hope sum1 can help me with.  I have a 5month old male dobby.  I had him at the vets a couple of weeks ago because i noticed he had little lumps from the back of his neck all the way down to his tail.  The vet said they could be "insect bites" and gave him an injection and sum anti-biotics.  They did seem to work but only for a couple of days, since then these lumps seem to come and go.  They do itch him and they do look unsightly(they do scab up aswell). I treat him with Frontline flea treatment and worm him to the book, i even tried washing his bedding without and soap powder but still these lumps appear!!  Ive tried everything i can think off.

What colour is he?  Dilutes (blues + fawns) usually have coat problems, blues especially, and these little bumps are often seen.

It could also be a staph infection (afraid I don't know much about those, but they are common in pups, causing bumps and itchiness).  The best advice I could give you bar none is to go here:

It's the best dobie message board I have come across, and the members have helped me with every issues I've had with my fawn male.  Get yourself a membership, and post your problem there - I have no doubt they will know what it is!
