umm if they wanted a Weimaraner with a longer coat why not just get the very rare long coated version of the weimaraner? would make more sense to me or do they look more like collies?

LH Weims are not very rare just not as popular with most people as the SH and many people do not know they even exist :D

hmm all i can picture is a weim looking think b/w with fur and a big head it doesnt look good lol. People really are sticking anything together i reakon its what ever names go together nicely and sound like money making names

Can you imagine the characters of these dogs.  Boy you have to work hard with a Weimeraner as it is!  I love both breeds but wouldn't like a cross of the two.  There are enough Weimeraner's at the moment looking for new homes as it is.  Two intelligent, work hungry breeds together as one aggghhhhhh!
